Local Community Outreach Programs

As a place of worship, community involvement goes hand-in-hand in meeting the ever-changing needs of our fellow citizens both locally and in the tri-state area.  Click on the noted topic for additional information:

Alcohol Anonymous Meetings: Weekly meetings regarding alcohol/substance abuse are held on Wednesdays from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Please contact Nancy Daniels at (973) 953-5653 for additional information, including attending the meetings.

Bible Study/Class: Wednesdays Fridays nights at 7:00 pm held in the Elder Amos Highsmith’s social hall.  You are welcome to join us via Zoom ID#777-6118-1314, passcode #914798.

Wednesday Mornings Prayer:  We have Wednesday morning prayers via Zoom ID#777-6118-1314, passcode #914798.

Emergency Food Pantry: Distribution of food baskets and meat bags are scheduled for Tuesdays from 9 am to 11 am and Thursdays from 4 pm to 6 pm.  We also have “free” giveaways to anyone in the community on Fridays from 10 to 1:30 pm.  To participate in the program, you must sign up.

Toilette bags/totes for the homeless/those in need:

Another worthwhile activity is our community outreach efforts in the preparation and distribution of our toilette bags for the homeless residing in Atlantic City and Rio Grande, New Jersey.
